Ignition expands into South Africa

Today, we're very excited to announce our expansion into Cape Town, South Africa. With feet on the ground in this region, we'll be able to better support the South African accounting community. As of February 1st 2020, our new base will be up and running in Kaapstad, with a lekker new premise on Strand Street.

This news comes off the back of our A$26M Series B round, which we announced late last year.

Our team in South Africa will be focused on partnering with our friends at Xero and Intuit to help accountants continue their adoption of cloud-based accounting software.

The significant adoption of cloud software in countries like Australia and the United Kingdom has demonstrated the opportunity and value for accountants to work smarter, not harder. Cloud technology has become the way forward for firms wanting to provide deeper insights, build a better experience, and strengthen relationships with their clients.

Meet Will
