Ignition launches new client renewals feature to help accounting and tax pros boost profits
Ignition customers can save time and upsell services when re-engaging clients
Texas, United States, May 30th — Ignition has released new functionality to help accounting and tax professionals save time, upsell services and increase pricing when renewing their annual client engagements, especially during tax season. Customers now have the ability to renew an existing client proposal, either individually or in bulk, in just a few clicks.
Matt Kanas, Managing Director, Americas at Ignition, says, “We know how time-consuming it is to renew annual engagements with clients, especially during tax time; however, re-engaging clients during the prelude to tax season is the single best time of the year to grow revenue opportunities. With our new client renewal feature, accountants and tax professionals can spend less time renewing client engagements while upselling their services or raising prices to grow revenue and profits.”
When renewing client proposals in Ignition, accounting professionals can:
- Renew proposals individually or in bulk
- Adjust the scope of work or pricing to maximize profitability
- Add new services or package options to upsell services
- Transition over any existing client services, billing and payment settings
Matt Kanas adds, “Combined with the option to create re-usable proposal templates, renewing annual client engagements shouldn’t be a huge headache or lost revenue opportunity for accounting and tax pros ever again.”
Sandy Johns, CPA for Revolution Financial, and Ignition Council Member, says, “We offer a lot of client services and used to dread the annual renewal process every year as it would take us almost a week. Using Ignition, we’ve been able to significantly cut down the time it takes to renew our client engagements by creating templates. It’s no longer the big dreaded deal we need to do on an annual basis.”
Ignition empowers professional service businesses to get paid faster and run smarter by automating and optimizing proposals, client agreements, billing and payment collection in a single platform. The new proposal renewals feature is the latest example of how Ignition makes it easier for firms to bill and get paid for all of their work to improve profitability and cash flow.
This latest product improvement follows the recent release of service edits, which enables accounting professionals to make adjustments to existing agreed services when the scope of work changes.
