Ignition named a Top New Product by Accounting Today for second consecutive year
2025 list ranks Ignition as one of this year’s top products in practice management, highlighting the platform’s best practice e-commerce capabilities
San Francisco, CA, February 25th — Ignition, the leading revenue operations platform for services-based businesses, has been recognized by Accounting Today as one of the “Top New Products” of 2025 for the second year in a row. The list places Ignition among the best new and significantly improved products helping accounting and tax professionals transform their business, as judged by the editors.
“Our product vision is to transform how services-based businesses attract, win, manage and retain more clients,” said Greg Strickland, CEO of Ignition. “We’ve invested significantly in industry-leading features, from e-commerce best practices to our latest auto-pricing capabilities, to make this a reality. It’s great to see our team’s hard work recognized by taking the top spot for practice management in Accounting Today’s Top New Products for two years in a row.”
In 2024, Ignition introduced more e-commerce best practices and ‘shopping cart’ online experiences to its platform to facilitate easy, online interactions between clients and their service providers. From tailored service packages to one-click payment options, Ignition’s e-commerce functionality accelerates revenue by optimizing the online sales experience. Customers have already generated over $2.2 million in additional revenue using proposal add-ons — setting a new standard for how accounting services are sold.
Ignition has a number of new innovations planned for 2025 to redefine how service-based businesses sell, bill and get paid for their services. Last week Ignition released AutoPricing, a suite of industry-first pricing automation capabilities that allow businesses to automatically increase prices across many clients at once.
Other upcoming Ignition innovations for 2025 include:
- Agreements-integrated deal pipeline management and forms to shorten sales cycles and prioritize profitable clients
- More ways to automate collections by importing unpaid invoices into Ignition
- New app integrations to automate workflows and processes
